Signs your pool is ready
- Rough plaster that scrapes feet, or bare spots showing gunite.
- A white calcium line on the tile that no amount of scrubbing removes.
- Coping that is cracked, lifting, or the wrong color for the house now.
- Cool deck that has worn through, or a deck that is too hot to cross in July.
- A pump that runs loud all day, or a heater that quit two winters ago.

How long it takes
A resurface with new tile is usually two to three weeks from drain to swim. Add decking and equipment and plan on four to six. We schedule around your calendar and we do not drain the pool until the crew and materials are lined up, because an empty pool in Tucson sun is not something you want sitting for weeks.
Hydrostatic caution. Some Tucson neighborhoods near the Rillito and Santa Cruz have a high enough water table that an empty shell can lift. We check before we drain.
How it works
- Estimate. We walk the yard, check access, grade and setbacks, and talk through what you want. Free, and usually under an hour.
- 3D design. You see the pool, deck, spa and features together in 3D before anything is dug. Shape, finish, lighting, all of it.
- Fixed quote. A line-item quote. Excavation, shell, plumbing, equipment, finish, coping, deck and barrier each priced on their own line.
- Build. A licensed Arizona pool builder takes it from here, pulls the permit with the City or County, and builds to the approved design.
- Walkthrough. Once it passes final inspection you walk the finished pool with your builder, get the warranties, and learn how to run the equipment.
